For over 25 years, CBI has been the exclusive Project Manager and General Contractor for the Bank of America Critical Data Processing Center in San Francisco. Upgrades to the Bank’s ever-changing IT infrastructure requires close coordination between the Bank’s Building Engineering Group, IT group, CBI, sub-contractors and equipment providers. In every project, we have managed to sequence the work so that there is zero down time for the client. Working closely with Bank of America over time, we have developed a series of work practices and procedures called “Critical Environment Work Authorizations,” or CEWA’s, that are tailored to each project. These CEWA’s ensure that every precaution is taken to eliminate any possibility of data loss, corruption, or functionality while we continue to meet all of Bank of America’s metrics for production.
