Working with Foster Media, Inc., CBI coordinated the design and installation of a 120-foot electronic advertising tower system with 4-foot diameter piers up to 120-feet deep adjacent to the 880 freeway, entry gate tri-vision signage, and billboards and kiosks throughout the Oakland Coliseum. The scope of work included coordination of the Structural peer review of the subcontractor’s signage structures, testing and disposal of contaminated soils, design-build of the electrical underground distribution system with new PG&E service, X-Ray of post tensioned slabs, traffic count and control systems, new ornamental gates, high speed crash barrier installation, and relocation of in-service fire sprinkler main lines and underground utilities. CBI was able to perform all of the work around a complex and busy event schedule for the Coliseum and adjacent arena ensuring zero downtime. The delivery of the completed project on time and on budget.
