- Modifications to existing utilities and devices to accommodate the demolition
- New acoustical ceilings throughout
- Conversion of the Level 7 Pre-Action control stations to a new wet-pipe fire sprinkler system
- Installation of new electrical throughout including lighting
- Installation of fire alarm systems
- Removal of the exterior pre-cast concrete wall panels to allow for their replacement with new concrete bulkheads, header and new glass window systems
- Coordination with SF Muni to lower transit power lines and multiple crane lifts for the window conversion
This fast-tracked project required extensive coordination between the key stakeholders, building owner, design team and general contractor. Through the implementation of an aggressive milestone schedule and consistent communication the project was successfully delivered.
